Introduction of installation method of temperature instrument

       What do you know about the installation method of temperature instrument? The installation of temperature instrument can be divided into four types according to the fixed form: flange fixed installation; threaded connection fixed installation; flange and threaded connection together fixed installation; simple protective sleeve inserted installation.

       1. Flange installation

       It is suitable for installing temperature primary instruments on equipment and medium and low pressure pipelines with high temperature and corrosive media. It has the advantages of wide adaptability, anti-corrosion and convenient maintenance.

       There are generally five types of flanges in the flange mounting method: (1) flat welded steel flange hg 5010-58 (carbon steel), hg 5019-58 (stainless steel) (2) butt welded steel flange hg 5014-58 (Flat butt welding flange), hg 5016-58 (concave and convex facing welding flange) (3) flat welded loose sleeve steel flange hg 5022-58 (4) crimped loose sleeve steel flange hg 5025-58 (copper ), hg 5026-58 (aluminum) (5) flange cover hg 5028-58

       2. Thread connection

       It is generally suitable for installing thermometers on pipelines without corrosive media. The oil refining department also adopts this type of installation on equipment as usual, which has the advantages of small size and relatively compact installation. The high-temperature (pn22mpa, pn32mpa) pipeline is equipped with a welded thermometer sleeve for the thermometer, which is a threaded connection installation form. There are two types of fixed sleeve and replaceable sleeve. The former is used for general media, and the latter is used for occasions that are easy to corrode and wear and need to be replaced. There are five kinds of threads in the screw connection and fixation, the inch system has 1′, 3/4′ and 1/2′, and the metric system has m33×2 and m27×2. Thermocouples are mostly fixed with 1′ or m33×2 threads, and some with 3/4′ threads. In some cases, they are also fixed with 1/2′ threads. The thermal resistance is mostly fixed by British pipe threads, of which 3/4′ is commonly used, and some 1/2′ is also used. The fixed thread of the bimetal thermometer is m27×2. The fixed thread of pressure thermometer is 3/4′ and m27×2. g3/4′ is very close to the outer diameter of m27×2, and can be screwed into 1" 2 buckles. Be careful to identify when installing, otherwise the thermometer connector (boss) will not be installed if the wrong thermometer is welded.

       3. The flange and threaded connection are fixed together. When equipped with an additional protective sleeve, it is suitable for installation on pipelines and equipment with corrosive media.

       4. Simple protective sleeve insertion and installation There are two types of fixed sleeve and card sleeve type interchangeable sleeve (adjustable insertion depth), which are suitable for the installation of rod thermometer for temporary detection on low-pressure pipeline. Most temperature measuring elements are installed on pipes and equipment of carbon steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, lining or coating, and sometimes also installed on pipes and equipment of brickwork, PVC, glass fiber reinforced plastics, ceramics, sugar porcelain, etc. The installation method of the latter is very different from that of carbon steel or stainless steel pipes and equipment, but it is basically the same as that of lining or coating equipment and pipes.
